MY ENGLISH TEACHER^_^ (BY: B.MAHA LETCHUMMY)

MY ENGLISH TEACHER^_^ (BY: B.MAHA LETCHUMMY)

Now it’s already 16th November 2015 which means there are only four more days
for the 2015 school sessian to end. There already been 14 years i born in this beautiful
country. I’m studying in SMK Raja Perempuan at Jalan Batu Bungkal, Ipoh. I’m now is in
afternoon session. My English teacher, Puan Asmaton  had asked us to write an essay
about our English lessons. And now here i am. Before start my essay I would like apologiz
if this essay hurts you.

Pn Asmaton begin to teach us this year, 2015. Honestly, at first I thought she was
quite boring. Furthermore, I want Puan Emi Farah to teach us English lesson. But
soon I realized that Puan Asmaton is a sporting type of person. She’s fun actually.
This is because she always have quizzes for us which make us more entusiastic to study.
Furthermore, every Tuesday, she have her lesson at the computer lab. She gave us
freedom to do our homeworks using the computer as now ICT playing important roll in
our future life but at the same time she is also strict in submitting our works. Althugh
she is a good teacher she still have her weakness as a human. For example, my weakness
is I am a sensitive person. HAHAHAHA^_^!!!! Pn Asmaton weakness is she didn’t ask to
hand in the homework that we have done although she had told us to hand in the books
today. Maybe she have forgot. But it doesn’t matters. Every human have their own
imperfection.

I will never forget Puan Asmaton whereever I am because she is the most
unyeilding teacher I have seen.. Hope to see you in future teacher.... Be happy
and smile always....Don’t forget me teacher. The most cute girl....Hehehehe....

A English Teacher's Class (by : Liew Xi Nee)

On 24 October 2001 , sharp at 7:30 p.m. , a loud baby voice broke the silence of the night. That baby's name is Liew Xi Nee, chosen and given by her beloved grandmother. That's me. But , enough about me. This story is supposed to be about my teacher. A beloved teacher named Pn. Asmaton.

She begun teaching me since this year, 2015.  At first, I felt that her classes are quite boring. I thought she would be the same old type of teacher that would teach and teach and teach her students without fun. But , I was wrong. Totally, absolutely and completely wrong about her. Do you want to know what happened? Continue reading to know what actually happened for almost the whole year.

Every Tuesday, my class, 2 Azalea, will have English lesson with her in the computer lab. As I was sitting in the front row of the computer lab with  2 Azalea's classroom leader, Raja Hafizah, we were appointed as the admins for her blog , The Inspirion. We had a lot of fun helping her publishing her 'orders' onto the blog. As the admins, we usually had a lot of 'face-time' with the school computers.

On other days, we would have our English lessons with our teacher in a few different areas. For example, we would have our lessons in our class, or at our school's dataran. Once, we had our class at 4 Avicenia. During the time, we would do our grammar, or our comprehension and our literature. My favourite literature lessons was about the drama entitled 'Rumplestiltskin'. Sometimes when there was just a few minutes left for the lesson, we would not learning English. Instead, we will be listening to Pn. Asmaton's story. there was once a story about her experience at a haunted hotel located at Bukit Merah. It was a scary story, in addition to the darkening skies around us and no lights.

Sadly, time flies fast. It is time for us to say our goodbyes as we are moving on to form 3 next year, which will be in the morning. But, no worries my beloved teacher. I will never forget everything you had taught me. And I will remember everything you had told me, every advice you had given me to improve my English language. Everything you had taught me had lead me to my success to participate in the TOEFL Junior Test and my fluency in my English speaking.

As for those who had read this story, please always respect your teacher, no mather how she or he treat you because a teacher is a candle willing to burn itself to light others pathway. A teacher is our second parent in the big outside world. Do you respect your parents? If you do, you shall do the same to your teachers. As for me, I would stop here and repeat whatever my English lesson teacher, Pn. Asmaton told me before. That's all from me.

                                                                                                                        ( 471 words )

CHORAL SPEAKING ~ ADMIN ~

TITLE : TEACHERS

Assalamualaikum and a very good afternoon to teachers and friends.
At last, we are here for us to entertain you.
We are presenting you a choral speaking title Teachers.

Kring ! Kring ! ( x5 )
Recess time is up !
Faster everyone ! Cikgu Hanif is coming !
Whoever goes into the class later than me will get a 'swing' !

Run ! Run !

Boys and girls,
Can you remember all of your teacher ?
Well, good teachers, funny teachers or special teachers ?

Today,
We stand here, to talk about our teachers.
Shhhhhhhhhh....
Guys, listen!

Teachers, are the burning candles that light our life,
The sunshine after the rain,
The wind beneath our wings.

They are our coaches,
Our fathers,
Our mothers,
Our friends,
Our everything !

Hey ! ( x3 )
I get 5As !
Really ?
Yes !
Because of what ?
Our teachers la....

From kindergarten to primary school,
From secondary school to the collage.
There is always someone behind these stages.
Who ?
It is our teachers !

A school without teachers is not a school.
And we, without our teachers, are going to be fools !

No teacher, no knowledge,
No knowledge, no privilege,
No privilege, there'll be outrage !

Teachers, teachers, teachers,
They come in many styles, like this....
[ individual actions ]

Guys, who is that new teacher in that new car ?
Who else, Cikgu Thomas !
The slim and tall teacher ?
Cikgu Fahmi !
The funny teachers ?
Cikgu Huang !
The pretty teacher ?
Cik Maria !
The handsome teacher ?
Ooooo......
Girls, a..a..a..
Jealous....

Teacher says,
Teachers goes,
Teachers smiles,
Teacher knows.

No teachers, no careers,
No careers, no future.

I want to be an engineer,
I want to be a doctor,
I want to be a lawyer,
I want to be minister,
I want to be a billionaire,
And, I want to be a professional dancer.

A dream will remain a dream,
It will not be realized without our teachers.
Really ?
Yes.....

No matter how much or how little teachers have done,
They always deserve our respects.

Teachers,
Are the ones who paint our minds,
And guide our thoughts,
Share our achievements,
And advise our faults.

For the dawn of each poet,
Each philosopher and king,
Begins with a teacher,
And the wisdom they bring.

Some and Any ~ ADMIN ~

Some vs. Any

Any and some can be synonymous; that is, they may have the same meaning. Both may be used in affirmative or negative questions:
Examples:
Will you have any?
Will you have some?
Won’t you have any?
Won’t you have some?
Generally, it is better to use some, not any, for affirmative statements and answers.
Correct: You may have some. Yes, I’d like some.
Incorrect: You may have any.

For negative statements and answers, it usually makes more sense to use any.
Examples:
I don’t want any trouble.
I can’t have any pets in my apartment.
Awkward: I can’t have some pets in my apartment.

Any and some are both determiners. They are used to talk about indefinite quantities or numbers, when the exact quantity or number is not important. As a general rule we use some for positive statements, and any for questions and negative statements,
For example:-
I asked the barman if he could get me some sparkling water. I said, "Excuse me, have you got any sparkling water?" Unfortunately they didn't have any.
!Note - You will sometimes see some in questions and any in positive statements. When making an offer, or a request, in order to encourage the person we are speaking to to say "Yes", you can use some in a question:
For example: Would you mind fetching some gummy bears while you're at the shops?
You can also use any in a positive statement if it comes after a word whose meaning is negative or limiting:
For example:-
A. She gave me some bad advice.
B. Really? She rarely gives any bad advice.

some and any
#hussasya

The words some and any are used when the speaker cannot specify or does not need/want to specify a number or an exact amount. Compare the following sentences:
- I saw seven deer when riding my bike in the forest yesterday. (It is important that you know how many deer I saw.)
- I saw some deer when riding my bike in the forest yesterday. (I don't know exactly how many deer I saw. Or: It is not important that you know exactly how many deer I saw.)
The "rules" that follow apply also to words containing some and any:somebody/anybodysomething/anything, etc.
In general, some is used in positive sentences:
  • I got some nice presents for Christmas this year.
  • This job is going to take some time.
  • Look! There are some large black birds on the roof of the church.
  • You have some butter on your chin.
  • If you are hungry, there are some biscuits in the cupboard.
  • I'm sure I'll return to Japan some day.
  • There is somebody on the phone for you.
  • I'd like to go somewhere hot this summer.
In general, any is used in negative sentences and questions:
  • I didn't get any nice presents for Christmas this year.
  • I looked in the cupboard but I couldn't find any biscuits.
  • I don't need any help.
  • She's so rude. No wonder she doesn't have any friends.
  • I don't have anything to wear to the dance.
  • I'm not hungry. I don't want anything to eat.
  • Do you have any brothers or sisters?
  • Did you catch any fish?
  • Have you seen any good films recently?
  • Does anyone know the answer?
  • Are you going anywhere this Christmas?
